Welcome to my website.
I have a small home based business in which I make feather/down eiderdowns, and also remake customers existing eiderdowns.
This has been a family business which my Grandfather began approx 1940. As a teenager I had the job of filling the eiderdowns. So I have 30 years experience in this business, and have made 100s of eiderdowns.

 

 

Each item is hand crafted individually using only the feathers from your original. New feathers can be added to top up if required, or a completely new article can be made from scratch for you to suit your decor.

I do put the customers choice of fabric on both sides if that is what you really want. However more fabric is required and this adds extra cost.
Possum Fibre / Feather Mix
I have just made myself a new Duvet using a mixture of Down and Possum Fibre. This made a very light and warm article. I have yet to work out a price for this, but this would make an excellent fill for any eiderdown. Possum Fibre, being hollow, is extremely warm and light, and blends well with the feather to give your eiderdown that 'puffy bulk', while keeping it very light.
