About   Rose Alma Designs

Denise and Carl Pester began Rose Alma Designs in 1994. Their aim has been to produce a range of New Zealand and general cross-stitch kits with their own definite flavour.

Denise's grandmother was Rose Alma Pimm. She used to do embroidery and some cross-stitch while her husband Bertie was a keen cross-stitcher.
Bertie Designs didn't have the same ring to it as Rose Alma Designs.

You will find in our catalogue the 'Country Cow' designed from a drawing by Shirley Pimm, wife of Dick Pimm, nephew to Rose Alma.

Denise's Mum helps us out, along with our children at times, making it a three-generation business.

A real family affair!
